Hi, I'm Gabe.

I’m a Designer and Engineering Leader versed in ethical AI, product development, design thinking, human-centered design, distributed systems, Iot edge systems, and IT infrastructure. I'm passionate about well-informed environments, experiences, technology that impacts the physical world, and tools that help people work better and faster.

Currently I work at Numina helping urban planners, transportation engineers, and people who manage public space understand how people use physical infrastructure.

I’m actively looking for part time or fractional CTO jobs, startup advisement, and product management doing:

• Ethical AI management and planning

• Technical visioning and roadmapping

• Managing teams of contract engineers to build towards and MVP

• Creating User Stories and initial UX systems for seed and early stage startups

• Planning, building, and hiring the team to build an MVP

• Planning and scaling an MVP as a business grows with their users.

In previous roles I’ve:

• Built technology and teams that kept millions of websites quick and reliable at Squarespace

• Built connected products and smart home infrastructure for 250k homes and over 7 million IoT devices at Wink

• Refreshed and scaled the IoT hardware and data analytics platform at Numina to help make our neighborhoods safer.

• Fought combat robots (3lb and 12lb weight classes)

• Helped build and run a maker space with 500 weekly users

• Maintained a member owned and operated space at the New York Industrial Collective.
